Palladio DaVinci

Why the name, Palladio DaVinci?

Andrea Palladio
(1508-1580) was the single most influential and copied architect in Western Civilization.  He was both brilliant and independent in design and application.  He embodied classical, functional and natural forms with proportion, harmony, balance and economy.  Palladio employed native materials from each site, used passive solar techniques and thus fathered Sustainable Design.

Leonardo Da Vinci (1452 - 1519) is often referred to as "DaVinci" which denotes his city of origin and not his surname.  Among his numerous subjects of interest and mastery were energy and architecture.  Like Palladio, Leonardo used balance, natural form, classical lines and proportion to express his genius in design.

Together they combine the practical and visionary approaches to energy and architectural design.
